What do you know? Toyota CAN make cool liveries…

Revealed yesterday, a special livery for La Sarthe this year. It’s not something original or particularly artsy, but a homage to the beautiful TS-020 (GT-One) of 1998. Even so, still MUCH better than the bland, tasteless, weak, flavorless, vapid, insipid, uninspired, flat, dull, mild and savorless current black-red-and-white liveries.

So, is there hope for Toyota? 🤔

  1. Nice! I always liked the tiger Gt-One, even more than the cigarette packet version of the ’99. Hopefully BoP regulation will be fair for them to prepare a proper challenge to the crown next month.
Anyways there are some other liveries that Toyota endurance history could dust off : Eagle in Imsa Gtp ’91, simple with no sponsors; or Casio TS010 ’92 , Taka-Q 88C ’88, Minolta 88C… Full speed ahead nostalgia!
