After a grueling 24 hours, Ferrari comes on top again. However, their victory only defined itself in the last hour or so, with plenty of drama and risks. Like having to pit to get a door closed or finishing the race with basically only fumes left in the tank ๐ฒ! A very nice race overall, with Porsche Manthey taking first place in GT3 and United Autosport first in LMP2.
For us collectors, Ferrari wining is not exactly great. Why? Because the only game in town will be $Looksmart$, if you want the overall winner ๐. Even so, we now have a hypercar art car (BMW) to look forward to in 1:43, hopefully from Spark (please!).
Who’s watching? Will Ferrari take a second victory in a row? Will Toyota bounce back? Or will Porsche show who owns Le Mans?

Since I’m not a parade aficionado, I’m not the greatest fan of F1 ๐. God, those races are boring – there’s more excitement off the track than during the race. Yet, it wasn’t always like this. Up to the 70s (80s?), things were way more thrilling. For instance, look at the current Grand Master Parade, the Monaco GP. Thrilling as paint drying nowadays, in the 60s it was awesome. Up above you can see this, and in 4K. The only issue is that the video is dubbed, with car sounds added in post-production (the original movie was like this). And due to the remasterization, some parts of the shot are shaky. Even so, a delightful 10 minutes, proving that F1 is not always bad. Or better saying, was once cool ๐.
