Now the Executive Board at Porsche AG has given the green light to the development of an <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/LMDh?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#LMDh<\/a> prototype <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dcCMbfwTov\">pic.twitter.com\/dcCMbfwTov<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Porsche Motorsport (@PorscheRaces) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PorscheRaces\/status\/1339148261979009025?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 16, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Only in 2023, but then we will have a Porsche LMDh (<em>Le Mans Daytona hybrid<\/em>) car! I read the news on <a href=\"https:\/\/jalopnik.com\/porsche-is-coming-back-to-le-mans-with-a-clever-plan-1845895431?utm_source=dlvr.it&amp;utm_medium=facebook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jalopnik<\/a> this afternoon, when they posted a link to Porsche&#8217;s Twitter page. According to both sources, Porsche will indeed be back to La Sarthe, with a brand new 1000 kg hybrid car with around 680 hp of power. After all the bad news lately with the LMH (<em>Le Mans Hypercar<\/em>) class, I confess I was feeling a bit bleak about the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
