The LP 670-4 SuperVeloce, produced from 2009, was the last version of the car. Rated at 670 hp, at the time it had Lamborghini&#8217;s most powerful engine ever. The SV badge means the car is more extreme and track-oriented, weighing 100 kg less than the normal Murci\u00e9lago, and also with a more powerful engine, better brakes, spoiler and rear wing. The engine is a massive all-aluminum V12 with 6496 cm\u00b3 of displacement that delivers 661 hp to all four wheels. All that translates to an acceleration of 0 to 100 km\/h (62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds. That&#8217;s buckle-up-and-hold-your-hat-down fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.w-143.com\/+upload\/street\/lamborghini_murcielagosv_2009_02.jpg\" alt=\"LP670-4\"\/><figcaption>In theory a Lambo should be in loud colors, but in my eyes white is perfect for such a graceful beast.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The name LP670-4 comes from <em>Longitudinale Posteriore<\/em> (longitudinal engine on the back), 670 hp and 4-wheel drive. It&#8217;s a rare car, since only 186 units came out of Sant&#8217;Agata Bolognese. I was always a BIG fan of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Murci\u00e9lago (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/ag-spots-2018.o.auroraobjects.eu\/2018\/10\/19\/other\/2880-1800-crop-lamborghini-murcielago-lp670-4-superveloce-c894419102018053800_1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Murci\u00e9lago<\/a>. In my eyes it\u2019s one of the best looking cars from the brand in modern times. When my wife got me as a birthday present the book <em>\u201cLamborghini Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murci\u00e9lago: A celebration of an Italian legend\u201d<\/em>, my love for the brand was rekindled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.w-143.com\/+upload\/street\/lamborghini_murcielagosv_2009_03.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>Another example of what I call &#8220;honest Minichamps&#8221;.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In scale, the LP670-4 is a gem (though AUTOart&#8217;s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Gallardo (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.w-143.com\/index.php\/lamborghini-gallardo-lp-570-4-superleggera-2010-autoart\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gallardo<\/a> is a <em>smidge <\/em>better). If you want a Murci\u00e9lago and want a more streamlined collection, perhaps this is the version to get.
